‘This has been the first year I worked with Matt, and I can honestly say its been the best year's racing I’ve ever had!!  Matt has been simply phenomenal,  not only has he helped me in-car but also out of the car, looking at data and going through on-board footage, studying lines and so forth.  Without Matt’s support I WOULDN’T have won the championship!  If you want to win, Matt is your man’

James proved he was one of the best drivers in 2010 with 5 Pole positions, 3 Race wins , 3 Fastest laps and 7 Podiums.  Some bad luck during the season meant the Championship title was out of grasp but James started the championship on Pole position at Brands Hatch and finished with a win at the final round at Thruxton. Along the way James stood out as the qualifying expert of 2010.

James started driver development with Matt back in 2008 when James secured the Formula Renault BARC Winter Championship at his first attempt with 3 out of 4 race wins.

‘Matt has coached me for 2 years and was integral in my transition from karts to single seater racing.  His precise data analysis and understandable communication made it simple for me to evolve from a complete novice to a championship frontrunner in a very short amount of time.  I have learnt so much as a driver and owe most of it to him.  My 5 pole positions and 3 wins in 2010 prove that he is an excellent driver coach’.
